Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a hospital support professional to provide clerical and data management services on the Patient Care Unit. You will work under the Charge Nurse and assist with patient care tasks delegated by the RN, while maintaining accurate medical records and upholding service excellence standards.

Responsibilities include implementing age-appropriate care plans and coordinating unit needs to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing test completion is required.
• Experience with medical terminology or Health Unit Coordinator training is required.
• Current BLS certification is required upon hire and maintained.
• HWC and Verbal De-escalation training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and data management support on the Patient Care Unit under RN supervision.
• Assist with age-appropriate care plans and tasks delegated by the RN.
• Maintain patient records and support unit operations.
