Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital environment in downtown St. Louis. The role involves patrolling on foot or by vehicle, controlling access, monitoring CCTV, and reporting incidents.

TB tests and vaccinations may be required, with drug screening where permitted by law. The position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, paid at $23.95 per hour, with health and retirement benefits and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current driver’s license required if driving company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document observations.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain as needed.
• Transport patients to the morgue as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and disasters.
• Sound alarms or call authorities in case of fire or intrusion.
• Monitor entrances and exits; ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft of company property.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
