Job summary
Inhospital Physicians is seeking a Clinical Optimization Coordinator to support Hospital Medicine and Emergency Medicine programs across Hemet, CA and surrounding coverage areas. The role focuses on improving patient throughput, LOS, discharge efficiency, and coordination of multidisciplinary rounds with HM/EM teams.
The position is primarily on-site with travel between Hemet, Menifee and Victorville, requiring strong data analysis, dashboards, and collaboration with medical directors, nursing
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Experience with LOS management, MDRs, discharge planning, throughput, or performance improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong Excel, Outlook, and data analysis skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily MDRs and patient progression.
- Identify barriers to discharge and patient flow.
- Support LOS, discharge efficiency, and hospital throughput initiatives.
- Track HM and EM performance metrics and propose improvements.
- Coordinate with Medical Directors and providers on documentation and performance initiatives.
- Maintain performance dashboards and reports.
