Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Director, System Throughput & Platform Optimization to lead enterprise initiatives that improve patient flow and operational efficiency across care settings. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, engineering, nursing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience leading large scale operational and process improvement initiatives in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of inpatient and ambulatory operations, patient flow, and throughput principles.
• Experience working with executive leaders, operational leaders, and providers.
• Experience as a product owner or operational lead for healthcare technology platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with throughput optimization tools such as Qventus or similar platforms is preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other formal process improvement training or certification preferred.
• Experience working in a matrixed, system level healthcare organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise wide initiatives focused on improving end to end system throughput and operational efficiency.
• Serve as the operational owner for throughput optimization platforms and their adoption.
• Translate enterprise priorities into practical, measurable operational improvement.
• Maintain continuity of ownership to support durable performance improvement over time.
• Collaborate with executive leaders, operational leaders, providers, and transformation teams to improve patient flow.
• Drive adoption of throughput tools and workflow changes with practical guidance and enablement.
• Prepare and present insights on throughput performance and opportunities for improvement.
