Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking a Materials / Inventory Control Specialist to support the Surgical Supplies department on the downtown Orlando Health campus. The role focuses on assessment, forecasting, and restocking of inventory to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Responsibilities include adhering to policies, reporting variances, maintaining accurate materials data, and coordinating with service-line teams and vendors to optimize par levels and product

Formación

• Two years of experience in an inventory environment.
• Familiar with automated materials management systems.
• Surgical supply and bone/tissue documentation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Observes policies to obtain, return, and exchange product.
• Reports variances and fluctuations in par levels to Materials Manager and Service-line Specialist.
• Implements change processes by engaging staff to help develop approaches toward transition.
• Maintains accuracy of Material Management software and reconciles borrowed/loaned product across departments.
