Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a Tech - Supply to receive freight, stock clinical departments, and manage inventory. The role includes delivering supplies to hospital areas and off-site offices, and performing routine equipment cleaning as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and prefer prior hospital or supply experience. English literacy and the ability to work under stress are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED desired.
• Previous hospital or supply experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to cope with and remain calm under stress.
• Ability to tolerate moderate noise levels for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift 0–50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives shipments from vendors or freight lines.
• Stocks supply lockers and distributes supplies/equipment to all hospital departments.
• Operates inventory computer and tracks issues, charges and locations.
• Delivers mail, records and supplies to off-site facilities and physician offices.
• Performs equipment cleaning procedures as necessary.
