Job summary

Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to perform physical, inventory-related tasks across the hospital campus or central distribution center, including storage, distribution and replenishment of supplies and equipment.

The role supports clinical and ancillary areas by delivering orders, stocking supplies, checking expiration dates, removing excess inventory, and cleaning clinical equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience preferred in Healthcare, Supply Chain or Materials Management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and co-workers.
• Knowledge of PPE and sterile supply processes.
• Ability to access information within hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and fill inventory levels and deliver supplies to units.
• Receive stock requests and stage and deliver according to schedule.
• Respond to supply requests, urgent and routine, within guidelines.
• Inspect deliveries for quantity, expiration and labeling.
• Maintain, clean and organize clinical supply and equipment areas.
