Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain leader to direct and optimize the hospital procurement and materials management function across multiple locations in the U.S. You will develop policies, oversee purchasing, and ensure compliance with corporate directives while supporting patient care priorities.

The role requires a minimum of five years in hospital procurement with supervisory experience; preferred qualifications include a business degree and CMPR certification.

Qualifications

• Five years of purchasing/procurement in a hospital environment, with supervisory responsibility.
• High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred.
• Preference for CMRP certification, Lawson procurement experience or Workday exposure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the operation of the hospital’s Supply Chain Management Department across patient age groups.
• Develop and implement departmental policies/procedures that guide purchasing services in line with corporate directives.
• Assist with authorization and execution of purchase orders for equipment, services, and supplies.
• Support, advise, and assist department managers with supply chain needs.
• Provide technical support for the Lawson procurement system.
• Manage local hospital recalls.
• Serve as backup to the Regional Director of Supply Chain.
