Shriners Children's is seeking a Corporate Supply Chain Procurement Agent to oversee end-to-end hospital supply purchasing, vendor negotiations, and contract compliance. The role emphasizes timely procurement, data integrity, and collaboration with Contracting and Legal teams to maximize cost savings and value across the enterprise.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of hospital supply chain experience required.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory, Contracting, Logistics, A/P Finance, and Value Analysis.
• Knowledge of hospital equipment and purchasing practices.
• Basic accounting principles knowledge.
• High School Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Independently directs the purchasing of all hospital supplies.
• Place orders, coordinate with vendors and departments; communicate pricing, availability and delivery; manage returns.
• Ensure requests are processed within 24 hours.
• Own customer needs; balance service, outcomes and cost.
• Lead negotiations with vendors for competitive pricing and contract compliance.
• Maintain professional vendor relationships and sourcing issues.
• Support EVAC and Value Analysis processes across the enterprise.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and savings.
• Resolve price discrepancies and backorders; manage emergency purchase orders.
