Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Coordinator, Supply Chain to oversee hospital supply chain operations across assigned facilities. You will develop policies, support department managers, and ensure efficient purchasing and procurement practices in a fast-paced pediatric care environment.

Key duties include coordinating purchase orders, providing Lawson system support, and acting as backup to the Regional Director of Supply Chain. Strong hospital procurement experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of purchasing/procurement in a hospital environment, with supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• CMRP certification or equivalent is a plus; Lawson/Workday experience is favored.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the hospital’s supply chain operations.
• Develop and implement departmental policies to guide purchasing services with corporate directives.
• Assist with authorization and execution of purchase orders for equipment and supplies.
• Support, advise, and assist hospital department managers with supply chain needs.
• Provide technical support for the Lawson procurement system.
• Manage local hospital recalls as needed.
• Serve as backup to the Regional Director of Supply Chain.
