Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide individualized assessments and treatments across inpatient, outpatient, and SNF settings, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited program, NYS license and ASHA CCC, and BLS within 90 days of hire. Experience in hospital settings is preferred, with emphasis on compassionate patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Eligible for NYS license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans based on physician prescriptions.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports.
• Communicate regularly with physicians regarding patient progress.
• Work with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Educate and guide patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain equipment and assist with developing new speech therapy services.
• Provide mentorship and direction to support staff involved in patient care.
