Job summary

WM is seeking a Hospital Services Worker in Conway, AR to travel between healthcare facilities, proactively collecting and exchanging waste containers for WMHS programs—such as Sharps, Pharmaceutical Waste, and Document Management. This on-site role requires immunization compliance and a valid driver’s license, with a strong emphasis on punctual, professional service.

The position entails a fixed schedule with early start times, standing/walking duties, and the ability to lift up to 65 pounds

Qualifications

• Requires on-site presence at WMHS locations and immunization requirements.
• 2 years customer service experience preferred or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

I. Job Summary

Under management direction, a Hospital Services Worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for various WM Healthcare Solutions (WMHS) programs, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities.

II. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various WMHS programs and services, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document Management.
• Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule.
• Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

III. Qualifications

• Required Qualifications
• This position requires on-site presence at WMHS customer locations and compliance with all mandatory immunization requirements imposed by such customers, and
• 2 years industry related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations or preferred education requirement

• Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing. Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds and push and/or pull carts weighing as much as 500 pounds.

Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.

• Monday: St. Mary's Hospital (Russellville) 5:00 am start time, working a 3 1/2 shift & Every Other Monday: St. Anthony's (Morrilliton), working a 1 hr shift
• Tuesday: St. Vincent North 7:00 am, working a 2 hr shift & Arkansas Heart Encore (Bryant) Every Other Week. Start time 5:00 am Working a 5 1/2 hr shift
• Wednesday: Conway Regional, start time 4:30 am. working a 7.0 hr shift
• Thursday: Arkansas Heart and Heart Clinic (Little Rock) start time 5:00am, working a 6.0 hr shift
• Friday: Baptist Conway start time 5:00am, working a 5.0 hr shift
