Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Security and Transportation Technician to help keep patients, staff and visitors safe while providing reliable transport for patients. This role supports a compassionate, team‑based environment in a premier behavioral health facility.

You will perform security duties across hospital grounds, operate wheelchair lifts, and maintain basic vehicle and safety procedures, with training and growth opportunities within UHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred or high school diploma.
• One year experience with psychiatric patients or security preferred.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Able to read/write and follow safety procedures; good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of hospital buildings and grounds for patients, staff and guests.
• Provide safe, efficient transportation services to patients of Lakeside Behavioral Health System.
