Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis is seeking a Security and Transportation Technician to help ensure the safety of staff, patients and visitors and provide safe, timely transportation around the campus. The role requires a clean driving record, basic security knowledge, and the ability to manage crises.

A Bachelor’s degree in psychology is preferred, with a high school diploma acceptable and one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field highly preferred; or high school diploma.
• One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and/or security preferred.
• Valid Driver License

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of hospital buildings and grounds, its patients, employees and guests; provide safe, efficient transportation to patients.
