Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers on assigned shifts, ensuring protection of hospital assets, patients, visitors and staff.

This role serves as first-line supervisor and escalation point, promoting accountability and consistent shift operations. You will coordinate postings, assist with training, participate in drills, respond to incidents, document actions, and maintain confidentiality while upholding hospital policies.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four (4) years of progressive security/public safety experience required.
• State of Florida Class “D” Security Officer License required.
• CPI, IAHSS Basic and Supervisor Certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises Security Officers on assigned shifts and coordinates post assignments and staffing.
• Assists with training of new officers and ongoing training of current officers.
• Supports emergency drills, incident command, and response during critical incidents.
• Maintains order, discipline, and security within assigned areas.
• Responds to incidents with appropriate notification, scene control, and documentation.
• Communicates patient and non-patient needs to Security team and hospital staff.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and department procedures.
• Backs up Department timekeeping as needed.
