Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a security officer to patrol hospital buildings and grounds, monitor for unauthorized access, and respond to emergencies. You will assist staff and visitors, direct traffic, and provide escort as needed, maintaining safety and order across the campus.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, some security experience, and a valid AZ driver’s license with DPS security certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six (6) months of security experience preferred.
• Must be 21 or older to operate a company car due to insurance requirements.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and Security license by the Arizona DPS.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital buildings and premises to prevent incidents and entry.
• Directs and escorts patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with authorities.
• Secures offices and facilities and handles calls.
• Completes routine and incident reports and maintains records.
