HonorHealth is seeking a Security Officer to patrol hospital campuses, screen visitors, and help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors in Tempe, AZ.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and relevant certifications (BLS within 2 months; Taser within 90 days). On-call and day shifts may apply, with opportunities to train and advance within the Security Team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Driver License required.
• BLS certification within 2 months of hire.
• Taser certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Patrol HonorHealth properties to ensure safety and security.
• Screen visitors and assist with campus directions and information.
• Investigate hazards, incidents, and policy violations; maintain logs and write citations/emails.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as first responder; coordinate with leadership and law enforcement as needed.
• Assist in training staff on security policies and procedures; enforce campus rules.
• Represent HonorHealth as a brand ambassador and assist guests and staff on campus.
