HonorHealth in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Security Officer to patrol hospital sites, screen visitors, and maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and guests. You will respond to alarms, enforce policies, and provide timely information to leadership while sustaining daily security logs.

The role requires a valid Driver License, BLS and (within 90 days) Tasers certification, with 1 year security experience preferred in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in security/law enforcement in healthcare setting preferred.
• Driver License required.
• BLS certification within 2 months of hire.
• Taser certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Patrols designated HonorHealth properties, screens visitors, and protects staff, patients and visitors.
• Investigates and reports hazards or unusual circumstances to leadership.
• Checks doors/windows and maintains log of security status.
• Escorts people or property when safety or property is a concern.
• Responds to alarms and dispatched calls with appropriate actions.
• Unlocks buildings after verifying identification and policy adherence.
