Job summary

Brigham and Womens Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff. You will patrol assigned areas, enforce hospital security regulations, report hazards, and assist in restraining individuals when necessary.

Strong customer service and clear communication are essential. This onsite role covers 40 hours per week (Friday through Tuesday) at 1153 Centre Street, with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred (education noted).
• State Special Police license mentioned in context of responsibilities.
• Experience: hospital/security/police or customer service 3–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify unsafe conditions to prevent theft, injuries or damages.
• Investigate thefts, disturbances and potential criminal misconduct; notify law enforcement.
• Provide protective services and assist in restraining individuals when necessary.
• Prepare and submit written incident reports and maintain logs.
