Job summary

PalAmerican Security is seeking a Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate security services on a specific shift at an assigned hospital site. You will liaise between the Program Manager and security officers, coaching, recognizing, and disciplining within empowerment guidelines to ensure quality service and patient safety.

You will oversee shift workflow, maintain logs, and produce clear written reports while responding to emergencies and maintaining a professional security presence on site.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the shift workflow of the department.
• Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Keeps accurate logs throughout your scheduled shift; prepares reports.
• Writes detailed and accurate incident reports for the property.
• Responds to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Patrols the facility to ensure safety of staff, patients and visitors.
• Maintains a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity.
