Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Security Guard License required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in security officer roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence by patrolling hospital buildings and grounds.
• Respond quickly to emergent and non-emergent security situations.
• Ensure only authorized personnel are admitted onto hospital premises.
• Escort visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas.
• Assist motorists who become stranded on hospital property.
• Monitor and report safety and fire hazards observed during patrols.
