Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license with no restrictions and insured by hospital
• DMV Driving History Release must be submitted annually
• Must obtain CPI, Handcuffing and CPR certifications within three months of hire
• Minimum 6 months experience in hospital or campus security, law enforcement, corrections or military

Responsibilities

• Provide security for patients, visitors and staff and respond to emergencies
• Monitor CCTV cameras and report incidents
• Conduct security, safety, facilities inspections, and alarm checks
• Participate in drills and tests and follow the Emergency Management Manual
• Interact with law enforcement as needed and provide testimony in court if required
• Drive a vehicle and adhere to the Driver/Fleet Safety Policy
• Restrain or subdue aggressive individuals when necessary and assist law enforcement
