Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center is seeking a security professional to monitor the campus, respond to emergencies, and help maintain a calm, safe environment for patients and families. The role includes rounds, incident documentation, and coordination with crisis response teams to ensure patient care areas remain secure.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of security experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• One to two years of related security experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security/safety rounds of the facility twice during shift and documents findings.
• Assists in managing aggressive/combative patients and applies restraints per policy.
• Documents security incidents and produces clear incident reports and logs.
• Facilitates use of emergency evacuation heliport and applies ground safety training.
• Acts as first responder for Hazardous Materials emergencies and coordinates with outside resources.
