Responsibilities

• Protect patients, visitors and employees by escorting, patrolling, and mitigating safety hazards.
• Deters crime through routine patrols of hospital property including parking areas.
• Enforce policies such as parking, visitation, and smoking/tobacco rules.
• Monitor activity via CCTV and respond to incidents as needed.
• Intervene in confrontations and document all duties and incidents.
