Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and console monitors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with good observation and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unarmed patrols of hospital grounds on foot or by vehicle.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restraining as needed (within guidelines).
• Transport patients to the morgue when required.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire when needed.
• Monitor entrances/exits and ensure only authorized access.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports and logs.
