Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital in the New Port Richey, FL area. You will perform on-site patrols, monitor access and CCTV, and assist staff with de-escalation and safety measures in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws before employment.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be 18 years of age or older where required.
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and communicate clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem solving, active listening, and rapid assessment abilities.
• Ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Write information clearly and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle and document observations.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation and restrain combative individuals if needed.
• Transport patients to the morgue when required.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room when necessary.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and disasters.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities in case of emergencies or rule violations.
• Monitor entrances/exits to ensure only authorized access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
