Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital environment in Florida. The role includes interior/exterior patrols, access control, and monitoring CCTV and alarms. Must pass drug screening where permitted by law; TB test and vaccinations may be required.

Shifts are 2:00pm-9:00pm Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off. Pay rate is $18.54 per hour, totaling about 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective service.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to operate radio/telephone equipment.
• D license may be required if driving company or customer vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in a vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restraining situations per guidelines.
• Escort patients and transport to morgue or ER as needed.
• Monitor entrances, CCTV and alarm systems; report incidents in logs.
• Assist evacuations during emergencies and notify authorities as required.
