Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital setting in Long Beach, CA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor CCTV and deter threats, and report incidents with clear, detailed logs.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least 3 years of security experience in healthcare, a valid driver's license if driving, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Full-time with benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Minimum of three (3) years in customer service or protective service (security/healthcare) preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company/customer vehicles.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform hospital security patrols on foot or by vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restraining as needed.
• Transport patients to the morgue when required.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and disasters.
• Sound alarms and call police or fire department when needed.
• Monitor entrances/exits to ensure only authorized entry and prevent contraband.
• Investigate incidents and maintain detailed written logs.
