Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer - Patrol Driver for a hospital location in Clinton, IA. The role focuses on unarmed patrols, high visibility, and customer service for patients, visitors, and staff.

You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming, safe environment at the healthcare site. The position offers a flexible part-time schedule with weekend hours and a starting pay of $18.36 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including public areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and vendor entry requirements, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to Allied Universal supervision.
