Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a Hospital location in Clinton, SC. The role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The position is full-time with a minimum 30 hours per week. Valid driver's license required; driving duties may be involved. Schedule will be set during onboarding, with a focus on safety, integrity, and community trust.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures, providing directions and assistance.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
