Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Full Time Patrol Observation in New York, NY to serve and safeguard clients in a range of healthcare settings. This role requires a NY Security Guard License, 18+ years for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and background checks, drug screening where permitted, and

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation as required by federal, state and local laws
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws
• Driver's license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and contractors via security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, public areas, parking and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with directions and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare reports and maintain communication with leadership and emergency responders as needed
