Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, public areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and facility staff.
