Allied Universal is recruiting a Hospital Security Officer for a healthcare client in Easley, SC. The role covers surveillance, staff and visitor protection, and customer service within a medical facility.

The position requires 6+ months security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Starting pay is $18.69/hour, with weekly or instant pay options available.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience involving dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with driving experience and clean record.
• Post‑offer training and certification in Management of Aggressive Behavior.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, and unauthorized individuals.
• De-escalate verbally and physically when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance.
• Respond to emergencies (fire, medical, bomb threat, weather) with calm urgency.
• Provide patient escort or safety support as needed.
