The role requires vigilant surveillance, incident reporting, and exemplary customer service while patrolling security devices and responding to emergencies with calm urgency. Prior security experience and a HS diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience involving dealing with customers or managing stressful situations.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Training to obtain Management of Aggressive Behavior certification after offer.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• De-escalate verbally and physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to aid admittance.
• Respond to emergencies with calm urgency.
• May assist with patient escort and transport of deceased to morgue.
