Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Security Officer for the Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc, WI. This on-site role covers safety for patients, visitors, and staff across the hospital campus and parking areas.

The position requires 1 year of security experience and active training in DAAT, NIMS, and ICS courses. The role supports de-escalation, rapid response to dispatch calls, and routine security enforcement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proof of training in Froedtert-approved DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) within 3 years or ability to obtain within 120 days; must complete NIMS IS-700 and ICS-100 within 6 months; FTO program within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide security in/around the hospital, facilities, campus, clinics and parking structures.
• Respond to dispatch calls as a visible deterrent and assist with de-escalation.
• Investigate unusual circumstances and enforce security policies as needed.
