Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center seeks a dedicated security officer to protect patients, staff and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, document findings, and assist in crisis management and crowd control while upholding safety policies.

The role includes reporting, evacuation support, and acting as a first responder for hazardous situations, with CPI training to be completed within 90 days. A valid driver’s license supports mobile patrols on campus.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to attend CPI training within 90 days.
• High school graduate with security experience preferred.
• Ability to follow Use of Force policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security/safety rounds of the facility and documents findings.
• Assists in managing aggressive/combative patients per policy and training.
• Maintains incident reports and daily activity logs with clarity.
• Facilitates emergency evacuation procedures and ground safety tasks.
• Responds as first responder to hazardous material incidents when needed.
