Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson seeks a dedicated Security Officer to protect staff, patients, visitors, and property. The role includes monitoring entry points, patrolling secured areas, and responding to emergencies with professional conduct.

You will support hospital operations while maintaining a safe environment for all stakeholders. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in hospital or related setting.
• BLS certification and valid Arizona Driver's License required; IAHS S Basic Training within 1 year.

Mansioni

• Monitors and secures environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Inspects areas for safety hazards and responds to alarms.
• Assists patients and visitors; communicates clearly and empathetically.
• May serve as shuttle/courier driver when required.
• Maintains records and follows emergency procedures.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies on solicitation, smoking and visiting hours.
