Job summary

El Rio Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Security Officer to join a dedicated team protecting patients, visitors, and staff. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, provide escort services, and respond to emergencies in accordance with established procedures.

A High School diploma or GED, at least 2 years in security or law enforcement, and BLS certification are required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist diverse patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years’ experience in Law Enforcement, Military Police, or relevant Private Security service.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older for liability coverages.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Performs all security duties and patrols to protect patients, visitors, community members and employees.
• Provides escort services and assistive support as requested.
• Identifies and reports hazards, unauthorized access, or safety concerns.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with local authorities per policy.
• Maintains incident reports and documentation of actions taken.
