Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Police Officer to provide internal and external safety across our Springfield Regional Medical Center facilities. You will support general safety operations, respond to calls, and participate in investigations when warranted.

Responsibilities include patrolling grounds, enforcing policies, monitoring CCTV, documenting incidents, and coordinating with clinical teams to ensure patient and staff safety in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; BLS within 6 months; Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Certification within 6 months.
• 1-3 years security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, visitors and employees and patrol hospital property to ensure safety.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls; participate in investigations as warranted.
