Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Healthcare Security Officer certification encouraged after the first year of employment.
• Compassion in Care Training (CCT) preferred; if not certified at hire, obtain in the first available in-house class.
• Ability to communicate effectively and remain composed in emergency or stressful situations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hospital-wide security in accordance with Hospital policies.
• Maintain surveillance of hospital property and respond to breaches or suspicious activity.
• Perform Morse Watchman check rounds and document findings.
• Provide escort services to parking areas or remote locations as needed and document occurrences.
• Direct vehicular traffic on hospital grounds to maintain a safe environment.
• Patrol parking areas and grounds; report hazards and incidents.
• Complete incident and daily reports; communicate critical information to relief officer during shift changes.
• Stand vigilant for fire/disaster; participate in internal emergency management procedures.
• Follow all safety protocols, use PPE, and maintain smoke-free zones as designated.
