Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect patients, visitors, and staff across our Peabody facilities. This role requires vigilance, the ability to assess risk quickly, and professional conduct in a busy healthcare environment.

You will work with a team to maintain safety and respond to emergencies as outlined in our safety manual. Patrols on foot or by vehicle, inspects for hazards, enforces access control, coordinates with police/EMS, and supports patient

Formación

• High school or higher education; 1-2 years healthcare security preferred.
• Must have CPI NCI certification and violence prevention training.
• Ability to document incidents and operate security systems.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols assigned areas on foot or in vehicle; checks for hazards and unauthorized persons.
• Responds to codes and alarms per safety policy.
• Directs vehicle and pedestrian traffic and enforces access control.
• Coordinates with local Police, Fire and EMS during incidents and emergencies.

Basic computer and data entry skills

Educación

Bachelor's degree or current student in criminal justice

CPI/NCI Certification

AVADE Workplace Violence Prevention Levels I-III
