Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a Security Officer to protect people and property and enforce hospital policies. The role includes patrolling grounds, responding to incidents, and assisting during crises to maintain a safe environment.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, state licenses, and security experience. Candidates should be prepared for rotating shifts and to work in a high-stress setting while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• All state licensing requirements including permanent Guard cards.
• Six months or more of private security or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PC-based applications in Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of patients, visitors and staff on hospital campus.
• Assist staff with potentially dangerous individuals and participate in restraint procedures as directed.
• Patrol facilities and report incidents of damage, theft, or other security concerns.
