Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Morgue Security in Spruce Pine, NC. You will safeguard patients, visitors, and staff, perform patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service in a hospital setting including a morgue.

Qualifications

Six months of security-related experience is required.
Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check conducted in accordance with federal/state/local laws.
Drug screening required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and hospital policies.
Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and report as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
Assist with visitor access procedures and directions for individuals entering/leaving the facility.
Document incidents and concerns accurately and communicate with site leadership and emergency responders.
