Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at Spruce Pine, NC. The position focuses on healthcare security, with responsibilities spanning access control, incident response, and routine patrols in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and entrances.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and restricted areas.
• Document observations and incidents and report to site contacts and responders.
