Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Morgue Access in Highlands, NC. The role provides reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.78 per hour, with a schedule that includes DayTimeThur07:00 PM - 01:00 AM and potential to build a full schedule up to 40 hours per week. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of security experience, be able to work in a hospital morgue, and meet vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur07:00 PM - 01:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
