Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Morgue Access in Perris, CA. In this unarmed role at a healthcare location, you will monitor, patrol and deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control, and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
