Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a 6pm–6am shift to protect patients, staff and visitors. You will monitor access, patrol facilities and respond to emergencies while upholding hospital policies and safety standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, Texas commissioned security officer license (or ability to obtain within 90 days) and CPR certification. Excellent English communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Proficiency in the use of computers is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned areas to ensure maximum visibility of security presence.
• Post in assigned area or conduct patrols in vehicle or on foot.
• Controls access to buildings and parking areas; enforces pass programs.
• Responds to security and emergency situations as dispatched.
• Completes and submits security reports and logs during shift.
• Maintains safety and service standards per hospital policy.
