Job summary

Baptist Health in Georgetown, KY is seeking a Security Officer for the night shift to protect patients, staff, and visitors. You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

Under supervision, you will complete incident reports, conduct investigations, and provide non-violent crisis intervention when required. This role emphasizes discretion, professionalism, and teamwork in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with no violations in 2 years.
• Ability to obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Must obtain Taser/CEW, De-Escalation, Handcuffing within 6 months.
• CHSO certification within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and complete incident reports.
• Confront suspicious individuals and direct or involve police as needed.
• Monitor surveillance, answer calls, dispatch services, and manage access control.
• Complete shift reports and logs with accuracy.
• Coordinate with security staff during events and emergencies.
