Baptist Health is seeking a Security Officer in Georgetown for full-time night shifts. The role protects patients, staff, and visitors by patrolling premises, monitoring CCTV, and coordinating responses with local law enforcement as needed.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, assisting with security assessments, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies. Requires a high school diploma and valid license, with certifications pursued post-hire.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with no violations in 2 years.
• Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must obtain Taser/CEW, De-Escalation, Handcuffing, and Defensive tactics within 6 months.
• CHSO certification within one year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols hospital premises and monitors access points to prevent loss and harm.
• Responds to emergencies, coordinates with police, and completes incident reports.
• Dispatches security staff, monitors CCTV, and prioritizes calls based on urgency.
• Provides direction to visitors and patients while enforcing hospital policies.
