HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon is seeking a Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide safety and security services to ensure the well-being of both people and property by patrolling assigned areas and enforcing rules and regulations.

The Security Officer responds to all in-building emergency requests and alarms and provides assistance and coordination. These officers are often the first or last person our patients, visitors and colleagues encounter in our

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or related vocational training is preferred.
• Associate degree in law enforcement, Criminal Justice or military service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security services to protect people and property.
• Patrol assigned areas and enforce rules and regulations.
• Respond to in-building emergency requests and alarms.
• Assist and coordinate with hospital staff and visitors.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct in a hospital environment.
